Jeannette Cooper lives in Chicago and is a mother and co-founder of Partners for Ethical Care, a nonprofit organization focused on raising awareness and supporting efforts to abolish the affirmation model of “gender identity.”
She has testified across the country in support of bills to protect children from “gender medicine” and works with detransitioners through a project called Transition Justice. However, most of her time is spent supporting thousands of parents through a Facebook group called Parents of Transgender/Non-binary Kids, Teens, and Young Adults. Jeannette lost custody of her daughter in 2019 because of the suicide myth around gender identity.
