We are heartbroken that Illinois is so perversely hyper fixated on promoting sexuality concepts with children at school. If only they focused on academics and literacy with as much dedication. As many European countries pull the plug on the now debunked pseudo science behind sex change surgeries (after numerous lawsuits by patient victims), America is on the bullet train forward. Thankfully, many brave advocates are sounding the alarm, especially patients known as "detransitioners" who are speaking out about the physical and emotional scars they now suffer. "Most often, they talked about how transitioning did not address their mental health problems." -Reuters Report, Dec. 2022 No child should be made to feel they are born into the wrong body nor should they be groomed for genital mutilation or reproductive sterilization. For the last several months, our team has been on a listening campaign. We've met with many families who struggle with gender dysphoria and one thing is clear: education is needed. The families say that social media--especially Tumblr--adversely affected their struggling child. They can't imagine having to also deal with a school pushing this agenda onto any child. Our advocacy message is: KEEP THIS OUT OF OUR SCHOOLS! Through this listening effort, we now view this topic with compassion and concern and as that you do the same.
