Documented Duress

This form is available in this blog post and on the health page. to any parent/guardian whose student is being forced to wear a facial mask. This is to be used by any parent or guardian who provided written documentation (prior to start of school) citing state/federal protections and a stated desire for the student to be unmasked (via Awake IL form or otherwise).

The past couple weeks, tension has been high at board of education meetings. From Plainfield and Naperville to Knoxville, IL and beyond, communities are standing up for students.

Parents, students, and staff throughout IL spoke to the Illinois State Board of Education today in Springfield. The vast majority of the 2+ hours of remarks were in support of local control, district autonomy, and parental discretion regarding facial masking of students.
