Tuesday Updates, FB Live 2/1/22:
1) Barrington IL did NOT vote to go mask optional. They are playing footsie and it's annoying. They sent clarification out today to parents (see below). A very emotional speech was given by an 8th grader last night; it was shown during the live above and may be viewed and read at Emma Woodhouse's substack. Wow. The kids are not ok. Bless her and every student struggling right now. We hear you!
2) We are awaiting the TRO ruling. Keeping the faith. Several families participated in the Feb 1 and Done Mask Off effort today. Some kids were isolated, sent home, banned from this week's activities, etc. Attorney Thomas DeVore shared some insights to how the case could be making Governor Pritzker very cranky (see FB live clip below). He will also be commenting on the BREAKING NEWS out of the Edwardsville School District. They allegedly used illegal traumatic intervention isolation chambers as a response to a peaceful objection by students to the mask mandate. He will be doing a LIVE this evening here.
3) We OPPOSE HB4640. Witness slips are needed. Click here to submit. Share the witness slip link with all your contacts.
